Agree. This team is minimum 2 years, probably 3 from contention for anything meaningful, and that’s if Bloom does a good job.

I guess he can give up moonshots as well as Roycroft and Fernandez.
But I agree he seems to have a live arm despite the mistake.

I thought last year’s team sucked in situational hitting - this season might be worse. I realize the pitchers are trying to get outs, but when you have runners on the corners, a 2-0 count, maybe don’t swing at pitches off the plate that you can’t drive. it MIGHT make sense if we were down by 1 or 2
but being down 5, it doesn't make sense
close.
