I realize the pitchers are trying to get outs, but when you have runners on the corners, a 2-0 count, maybe don’t swing at pitches off the plate that you can’t drive. Contreras swings at two balls, and ends up grounding into a rlly killing double play. It’s been a season-long lather, rinse, repeat failure n these situations, with very few exceptions. Maddening to watch !
Nice post and agree.

If they had a wake on Channel 9, it would be more interesting than watching this cadre of pallbearers in baseball uniforms.

Any Noot fans left?
He needs to go!
The guy is a tease. We have other LH bats superior to him.
He’s a black hole.
True. Far too much time already wasted on Nootbaar.

Hahah, does Walker ever get a "real" hit? I just looked at Gameday and he's apparently 2 for 3 with an infield single and a pop fly that dropped into no-mans-land?

Even his game-winning double--which was a solid rope--probably should have been caught by the 3rd basemen and become a double play.

This guy is driving me cray-cray! lol

Burleson is under a .600 OPS career vs LHP. Milwaukee smart enough to take advantage of that and skip past Herrera.

Agree. This team is minimum 2 years, probably 3 from contention for anything meaningful, and that’s if Bloom does a good job.

Only one week from contention. This was the week. If they had won Mon/Tue/Wed/Fri instead of losing they would be 76-72 and 1/2 game ahead of the Mets and in the playoffs.

But... they aren't trying to win.
