To be fair, it is the end of a long road trip. But, agreed, it's not encouraging to see the 2024 version of RISP failure after a 1-run performance yesterday.

Think they are going to be careful with his pitch count, since he was mainly bullpen last year. Likely all season, especially in the second half.

The last game the Cardinals lost (sandwiched between all the wins was on May 14th in Philly ... the final score Phillies 2 -Cardinals 1
Anyone superstitious ? So let's pull it out.
PS Back on May 6th the Cardinals did defeat the Pirates 2-1

+1 I don’t blame them they mismanaged him early in his career pulling him from bullpen to start so now they have to
Manage his innings or he will hit a wall later in the season
