More importantly, are they going to upgrade from the pathetic Kerber/Vitale duo?

I hear Keber on the radio today, when asked what the Blues are planning to do he did say they will be going with the same set up as last year, him and Vitale on both the radio and TV, but claimed he knew nothing about the TV plans at this time. I can not understand how we have gotten to this point and they still are not informing the public what the plans are.

It’s July. I think they have time to let you know what channel the games in October will be on.

Just like with the Cardinals odds are there are negotiations, lots of contracts to be signed, agreements to be made, broadcasting rights, blah blah blah.

I doubt however since they knew this was coming, unlike MLB, they have been working on an alternative for a while now, which is why I think they had a few of the games on Matrix Midwest while simulcasting on free tv last year.

They have plenty of time to announce things. As far as Kerber goes, I'm sure as of right now he has no reason to believe there will be a change, but things can change pretty quickly once contracts get signed. They might go with one more year so things can settle down and get acclimated then revisit the following year.

Best hope may be for the NHL to produce games in multiple markets where there is no regional sports partner like MLB is doing. Then the cable and satellite providers just have to designate a channel- most likely one that is only used for the games plus pre and postgame shows. Short term I guess the Blues could try doing that but I don't think they have the personnel or knowledge to do that.

I thought the FanDuel channel would be gone by now since they only show gambling stuff and oddball content. They no longer have the staffing to produce games but I guess they could host the games if someone else produces. It's hard to maintain a production staff for 84 games a year.

Maybe the NHL Network could be involved?

We deserve so much better than that duo. It's really miserable.

FFS it’s July. I hope to God they get rid of them because I’m so sick of the crying. Watch or don’t. It’s exhausting. Better idea, start a new thread and keep it going from last year. That way I can avoid all of it.

Still hoping for a free Victory stream, as is done in Dallas if i remember correctly.

I just don't want to have to do a dance to watch the games.

I don't recall it being free for Dallas but I may have missed that. I do know the preseason games Victory covered for us last year were free but my guess is it was a good will gesture by Victory to demonstrate ability and quality in hopes of landing a contract. 🥴

Looking into it I believe it's been free on Victory for past 2 seasons.

Well, perhaps you should stay away from topics involving Blues telecasts if you don’t want to potentially see negativity about it. Or maybe you’re wrapped pretty tight if such a thing bothers you so much. Perhaps you need to tie one on to relieve some stress.
