I want to see VSII succeed. He’s an exciting player to watch if he could get it together offensively. Unfortunately, the potential to hit at this level was always a knock on him. When Noot comes back it might be beneficial to send Scott down to work on things for awhile.

I've been pulling for Vic too ronnie but after 731 PA's he's still a .200 hitter w/a horrible .279 career OB%.

I too wonder if he goes down to Memphis for a few months when Noot is activated and stays there until Noot is traded?

Gotta do it. Unfortunately, I think the brass is thinking the team is playing good enough to cover for Scott in hopes that he figures things out.
Thats just what it seems to me, but I think they need a hitter, and a better defensive player in center. As we all see, the other teams in the Central dont seem to lose, unless theyre playing another team in the central.

Yea i think thats what they are thinking i think scott gets the run until noot comes back but i would love to see torres get a shot and bat 9th if he could just get on base at a .320 to .330 clip that would be a pretty big improvement getting on base ahead of JJ and Herrera

I have never seen Torres play but his BA and other numbers are impressive.

Sending VSII to Memphis makes sense when Noot returns, if not sooner, like after this Sunday's game. However, I get the vibe that they're not gonna send VSII down at all, ever.

We got rid of Michael Siani who had a higher batting average, better arm and arguably better defense, at least as good as Scott. I don't know why we continue to run him out there when he has had three years to figure it out and still cannot hit. When Nootbaar returns Scott should be sent to Memphis and replaced in CF by Church with Noot in left. We lose nothing on defense, in fact Church may be better considering that he has an arm and Noot will add offense to what already looks to be a winning team.

A couple days ago, GoldSchmidt was batting 205 but .765 OPS, which is above league average.

Meanwhile Sagesse is hitting .190 with a .436 OPS.

Those are two completely different Mendoza hitters
