I suppose that depends on whether any were available for a price he was willing to pay and whether getting one fit in the timeline of the rebuild, but that’s just stating the obvious. What kind of defensive outfielder could Herrera be in LF? Herrera could certainly wind up getting a look in LF with multiple Catchers on the way.
Josh Baez could certainly figure prominently ST 2027 if he puts another strong season together.
With the pitching depth in the system the Cards could certainly line up in a deal for a hitter(s).
