Don't really understand why Jurrangelo Cijntje, Yhoiker Fajardo, and Jesus Baez are so high.
The other two, I'm not sure what's not to love.
Fajardo has exceptional command for his age and just threw 72 innings in his age-18 season without giving up a single HR (after having given up just 2 in 50 IP in the DSL). There is a ton to like with him... as so much work can start earlier on pitch design / shape due to the plus command.
Cijntje is an insane athlete. Milwaukee drafted him as a shortstop out of high school but he elected to go to college and pitch. He's darn near picture perfect from a mechanics perspective as a RHP with plus velocity. I think you'll like what you see once you see it.
Someone was a little wound up about the HR given up in A-Ball... worth mentioning - the dimensions at Funko Field are weird with a super shallow right center field (like 315 feet or something and the alley is about 350). He had a 21% HR/FB rate there as opposed to 4% when he moved to AA. Super noisy.
I really liked the Contreras trade.
They got a much needed "now" player in Dobbins plus the upside of Fajardo and Aita who
has upside too.
Would have liked the same formula in BD trade but I need to give trust to the process.
