Been spending the last several months in some of the more interesting places in eastern Europe with little to no access to commercial internet. That said, it looked like a good time to take a break from Blues Hockey posting...

Did you find any useful eastern block goal scorers? Asking for a friend.

I didn't, but to be honest I wasn't really looking...

On another note (yes, pun intended), I was completely taken by how many folks in Sweden were Blues fans. I wore my hoodie to a bar in Solna (a burb of Stockholm) and once they found out I was FROM St Louis everyone was trying to buy me drinks and talk hockey. We talked about Stenberg and Lindstein, but I was surprised that they also talked heavily about the Czek kids that played in their league.

Swedish bars on Hockey night are VERY Blues friendly.

Never really came up, but Ozzy had passed a few weeks before I got there, and EVERYONE believed that our Blues was his favorite Hockey team (and I didn't disagree, whether true or not).

LOL, funny you bring that up.

This old fisherman (well-dressed though) went on-and-on about how the Blues got the STEAL OF THE DRAFT with Love. Sure-fire 1st rounder according to Axel (his name). He was fun though, and must have been a handful when he was younger.
