I wish we had a competent run organization
He's not a free agent

He’s signed by the Blue Jays through next season. They’d have to make a trade for him and if he’s such a good player, why would Toronto trade him away? He’s a little better than Noot, pass.

That's not true at all. We signed Sonny Gray, Lance Lynn and Kyle Gibson 2 years ago. 3 years ago it was Contreras. Those same years we had Goldy, Arenado.ZouMiz2424 wrote: ↑01 Nov 2025 23:47 pmWe’ve been rebuilding for 3 seasons without any improvementsTXCardsFanX wrote: ↑01 Nov 2025 22:51 pm WE ARE REBUILDING
Besides, Varsho has a LOW floor. You don't pay guys like this unless you're already a contender.
We've only been rebuilding for 1 season.
The other 2 we were just floundering around piecing together a not-quite competitive roster - continuing to spend money at the same time.

More like a half season....71 games, 271 PAs. Very hard pass on that.Adam2 wrote: ↑04 Nov 2025 09:10 ampretty bad take here, let's not overreact on 1 ok seasonZouMiz2424 wrote: ↑01 Nov 2025 20:55 pm He’s a good player who could probably be had at a decent number. I think DV is a blue jay for 2026. He is the type of player that bloom will avoid—marginally better than league average. The only players of that caliber we will have much interest in are pitchers.ZouMiz2424 wrote: ↑01 Nov 2025 20:55 pm He’s a good player who could probably be had at a decent number. The man's name is Dalton which is the coolest name ever. That would be the only reason to even remotely consider acquiring him. Pass.
