Cards should look at Varsho, but we won’t
He’s a good player who could probably be had at a decent number. He’s basically a good version of Noot.
I wish we had a competent run organization

You want to pay a guy with a career .227 AVG, .295 OBP, and .725 OPS??
Noot has a career .242 AVG, .341 OBP, and .747 OPS.

The cardinals already have center fielders who can’t hit why would they want to bring in another?

WE ARE REBUILDING
Besides, Varsho has a LOW floor. You don't pay guys like this unless you're already a contender.

What exactly does Varsho improve? You've ignored the career stats posted earlier.ZouMiz2424 wrote: ↑01 Nov 2025 23:47 pmWe’ve been rebuilding for 3 seasons without any improvementsTXCardsFanX wrote: ↑01 Nov 2025 22:51 pm WE ARE REBUILDING

Lol Gary Varsho’s kid is definitely the cure to what ails us
Re: Cards should look at Varsho, but we won’t
I didn't see him perform very well at all. Is he good? 2.8 WAR in limited time but low avg and OBP. He does have some power though.ZouMiz2424 wrote: ↑01 Nov 2025 20:55 pm He’s a good player who could probably be had at a decent number. He’s basically a good version of Noot.

The St. Louis Cardinals' outfield OPS for 2025 was significantly poor, with a collective OPS of .634, which was the worst in the National League. This was a major factor in the team's overall offensive struggles, characterized by a low .223 batting average, .300 on-base percentage, and only 38 home runs for the outfield unitcardinalsfever44 wrote: ↑01 Nov 2025 23:49 pmWhat exactly does Varsho improve?
