Yep, you would have thought so. Just goes to show that when players leave and have nothing but good things to say about the Blues front office and locker room the quality of player they can get.Frank Underwood wrote: ↑04 Nov 2025 08:48 amTheJackBurton wrote: ↑04 Nov 2025 08:26 amRumor was Vancouver actually offered him more, but with the dysfunction in the Vancouver locker room and front office he wanted out.Frank Underwood wrote: ↑01 Nov 2025 18:56 pm Just a smart, solid player. That would make sense, because how could you not be impressed with that guy. Coming off a 25-goal season, he should have been a priority for them. Thanks Jack

Re: P. Suter
Wasnt a big fan of the signing at the time, even tho I acknowledged the Blues got a favorable deal for him in years and salary, but Im quickly becoming more of a fan of him the more I watch him. It’s a shame he doesn’t have a little more size, he’d be even more dangerous around tge net. No complaints so far tho
Re: P. Suter
Obviously Army signed him because he was afraid of drafting in the top #5. Typical Army move.

The other part that at least Suter has said, The Blues told him the vision for his role, and that probably included being a 2nd line center as one of the first things the Blues did was drop Schenn down and experiment with Suter up on Holloway and Kyrous line in preseason. I Assume he liked that idea of that because those were 2 high ppg players last season, and he's trying to build his resume for his last contract.Frank Underwood wrote: ↑04 Nov 2025 08:48 amTheJackBurton wrote: ↑04 Nov 2025 08:26 amRumor was Vancouver actually offered him more, but with the dysfunction in the Vancouver locker room and front office he wanted out.Frank Underwood wrote: ↑01 Nov 2025 18:56 pm Just a smart, solid player. Anyways, he has been a bright spot. yesterday he and Schenn almost opened the flood gates. Both missed a pretty Grade A chance that had a lot of open net. Suter Hit the bar, and scored a goal. There were like 5 chances and he was apart of 3 of them with 1 going in that were all but goals.

He looks like John Tunstall.
Re: P. Suter
All round steal, one would have thought just what the team needed to solidify themselves but the rest need to catch up to him.StLouis-4Life2 wrote: ↑01 Nov 2025 18:50 pm Probably one of the only highlights this season.... pretty solid 2 C but would be a top 5 3C which is what we signed him to be originally. Would have loved to see him play with Bolduc...think he will really help either Stenberg or J. Carb next year
He seems like a great locker room guy too...he's moved around a bit....I hope he likes it here and has faith in this team to be better.
