3d line is the obvious guess. They want him taking NHL faceoffs and to be an NHL center. Lindstein may be up by Christmas the way he is playing also

Likely center...just thinking they might want to simplify things for him. Goes to wondering how close this decision was to bring him up.

looks like Texier was waived. Tough day for him after probably his best outing. But the Blues are having issues in 2 areas now that Thomas is out. They were getting dominated on the dot yesterday, and goalie play is bad. Dvorsky can't do any worse than the 0 production that Texier was at and can help out in the dot.

Honestly, this won't be a popular opinion here, but Walker needs a rest for a few days. He's getting overexposed at times because we are relying too much on him. He's at his best as a wing not the 4th line center. This could help that to balance out the 3rd and 4th line better. If schenn and Suter have to take 1-2 and Dvorsky takes 3, Sunny can go 4 and make that a proper line.

It’s a start now if we can bring up Lindstein and Kasimaki and waive Joseph and Sundqvist, we’ll be on to something.

those 2 have been playing pretty well no? I don't think the Blues are in a space to lose Sunny on the dot as well. It's not Suter's strength, so even when Thommer is back and you drop Suter and Schenn back down the lineup, you still need a 4th line guy. They are going to bump Dvorsky out to wing when the team is full and probably have him take FO for those who are struggling.

I've been very underwhelmed with my dark horse to make the team (Kaskimaki). He is at least better than Alexandrov who has been awful.

Lindstein and Stenberg are the two who could get the next call. Stancl is out at the moment, Pekarcik needs more than a handful of professional games before he is on the NHL roster. Springfield has games Fri-Sat-Sun this week

Short term, I think we staple him to Bjugstad and let them split the defensive duties.

I don’t know what the plan is as far as his position goes, but sooner than later their top 3 Cs should be 18,22, and 77 or 54. Schenn shows with every game he is a 3 LW. You can’t win at the NHL level running Schenn and Sundqvist as your 2nd and 3rd centers, I don’t care how many injuries you have. That was tough watch last night.

I didn’t but yeah that’s brutal. My optimum setup for the start of year was Schenn at 3W but Army didn’t really address the 2C issue. Suter’s OK but more of a 3C. Then they start Dvo in the A. Just head scratcher for me.

That was my point Schenn is not a good top 6 center right now but he could be Dvorskys LW with a scoring RW. This was evident all the way back to last year too. It should be some combination of Suter/Dvorsky in the top 6 and Bjug/Sunny bottom 6. Putting DD on a bad 3rd line with two fourth liners does nothing to advance the kid or try to win games now.

Well-played. I hope so too. If Dvorsky succeeds, we are looking at at 4.5 year rebuild. If he doesn't, it's 5.0. However, at a minimum I can at least wear my Dvorsky jersey with pride.
