First off as I said earlier I think he stays put.
But I heard on the radio today he has stated no negotiations or talk of extension during season.
What I did not hear was if that personal "policy" applies with other schools or is that just with Missouri?
This is a big reason Drink will stay at Mizzou for quite a while

Drink was on the hot seat before the 2023 season, his 4th at Mizzou, with a just below .500 record. Napier was one game under .500 and in his 4th season at Florida. Freeze’s record was abysmal and made it almost four years.Shady wrote: ↑02 Nov 2025 14:58 pm Drink makes really good money as the Head Coach at Mizzou. He's the head coach in the top conference in college football. He has good NIL and facilities support. He has two major cities in the state to recruit from with very little in state competition. And the administration, influential boosters, the media and fan base don't seem as hostile as some other top jobs are. There are some sensible reasons for him to remain at Mizzou.

Drink has 2 winning seasons out of his 5 seasons here and his name comes up for every coaching vacancy.
