Stone and Boating looked like solid contributors. Phillips is great improvement at 5. Man do they like to run and their bigs are right in there when they do. Ant showed out greatly in finishing and shooting.

If you want to play you better play hard D was the message after the game at Presser. Interesting he brought stone and boating with him.

they played well together considering this is first actual game but they have been practicing together since June.

Was Pierce held out as precaution for injury or discipline? anyone know?

They scored 100 while looking rough still and not communicating like they will by December.

Pierce was held out because of a little discomfort in his lower body, but Gates said that he would have played in a real game. When they (Mizzou) had their starting five and maybe top seven players in the game they always had a double digit lead and building on it until he started subbing.

I think he will be a factor in the team's success.

these four guards looked really good: Robinson, Barrett, mack, stone. they all look like they can play defense, handle the ball, and score.

phillips is a major upgrade. good rebounder, good dunker.

the freshman Randall is raw but moves really well and is very active. could be a good player for mizzou next season and beyond.

here's hoping Mitchell's left wrist (his shooting hand) isn't a bad injury. he landed on it very hard, bent it underneath him, was icing it on the bench the 2nd half.
hope it's not a bad sprain. I imagine they x-rayed it, so hopefully no break.
You pretty much summed it up.
One player I wasn't impressed with was Jevon Porter.
I guess he is just getting the rust off???
