I think its pretty obvious Mcdavid wanted those signings

Doesn't look like McDavid did any "resetting of the market"

oh yeah, I'm sure he was absolutely the one who took less money so that Jake Walman could make more.

That makes the most perfect sense in this world, especially when you have 2 goaltenders who are below average and are both UFA's next year.

Edmonton screwed the pooch and is double-dumming it with contracts like this. Hahaha!

McDavid's gonna completely waste his career and for what? Completely inept management.
Harsh!

Back-to-back finals ain't bad.

Yeah, it hadn't been fully official when I put it up but those were the numbers being tossed.

Good for him, and good for Winnipeg being able to keep a home grown, bad for the Blues since he absolutely kills us.
One of the most, if not the most underrated player in the league. Have always hoped that Kyrou can aspire to become the Blues' version of Connor.

I agree.

Well that is much less crazy than what you think. If you think they didn't discuss how that money would be spent you are the crazy one. Ever cross your mind that McDavid is not a great general manager?

You actually believe they took McDavid's opinion into account when re-signing Walman to a contract that was 5 years longer than McDavid's?
