31-28, Tigers
Re: Missouri-Alabama Prediction Thread
35-17 Bama. Mizzou's weak spots(OL and secondary) get exposed by their best opponent by far to date. Unfortunately I have a Bama alum in the family and I'll be hearing all about it.
Re: Msissouri-Alabama Prediction Thread
saw interesting information on that SEC podcast. Bama has stopped no one rushing so far and each game it's gotten worse to the point Vandy was averaging 8 yards per carry. Turnovers and uncharacteristic mistakes by Pavia destroyed their chances and finally bama QB picked them apart.
MU is best rushing team in country and it's going to boil down to who controls the game and has fewest TO's. Did they improve their pourous secondary in last two weeks? Can they generate a consistantly pass rush where Ty isn't nearly as good as when he has a clean pocket where he is outstanding. They don't run the ball as well as a normal bama team but did get their top rusher back last week.
Tons of variables and this is third game in row of a very tough undefeated opponent. Can they keep the intensity they have shown again?
Something else to consider is Deboer and his OC were at Fresno state for a couple of seasons while Kirby was there and they are all familiar with each other and how they operate. Same with Batoon and the Bama DC who were together for several seasons. what does that mean? who the heck knows but I thought it was interesting no talking head has brought that up.
This is the game where MU and Eli especially will finally Beat a Big brand and show that Tigers are a real force in the SEC. I see a shootout but picking scores is silly IMO. This is a good bama team not one of the great ones.

I really like the over in this game (52) and I've already bet it so it is very likely someone will win 7-6.

I don't care about the score. Give me victory or give me cake.
That is mathematically impossible to be that score in OT unless we score first with a TD and Bama kicks a FG knowing they can’t win just to mess with the point spread

It's mathematically impossible for Alabama to mess with the point spread by choosing to lose the game.AnthonyS wrote: ↑08 Oct 2025 14:20 pmRed Bird Classic wrote: ↑07 Oct 2025 21:43 pm 35-31 Tigers in overtime??

Okay. I started thinking about that and if it was possible if not highly unlikely.AnthonyS wrote: ↑08 Oct 2025 14:20 pmRed Bird Classic wrote: ↑07 Oct 2025 21:43 pm 35-31 Tigers in overtime??

Do they blow it dead immediately on a 2 point conversion if the defense intercepts a pass on a two point conversion in overtime?
If not:
Score tied at 25. Mizzou scores a TD and the 2 point conversion to go up 33-25. Alabama scores to make it 33-31. They throw a pass in the flat that a db steps in front of and runs 100 yards the other way just because. 35-31.
Re: Missouri-Alabama Prediction Thread

I should have said 34-31 Tigers in OT.
But then people would think maybe I was predicting the Tigers kicked a FG and Bama got nothing.
So:
28-28 at the end of regulation.
Bama goes first and get 3. 28-31
Tigers get a touchdown in their chance. 34-31. (I forgot that they don't kick the PAT in this situation.

So yeah 34-31 Tigers in OT.
Re: Missouri-Alabama Prediction Thread
At least the Mizzou fans try to think with their brains. Not one Bama fan thinks they might lose. LOL

Re: Missouri-Alabama Prediction Thread
There are some Bama fans on SEC rant who think the Tide might lose. Not many, though. It's not quite like the Nick Saban years.
As for me, preseason I had this game as a loss in a 10-2 season with the other loss at Norman. I hope I'm wrong, but I'll stick with that and be very happy when I am wrong.

I had them 10-2 also but did not pin point the exact 2 losses.icon wrote: ↑09 Oct 2025 08:36 amThere are some Bama fans on SEC rant who think the Tide might lose. Not many, though. It's not quite like the Nick Saban years.

I said then if 5-0 for this game the door is open for them if they want to go in.
