Well said!
At the moment I think they have the capability to put together some sort of top 5 or 6 with a combination of:
Winn
JJ
Donovan
Burleson
Contreras
Herrera
Until traded I’d throw in Arenado at least at #6 vs LH pitching.
Walker? Too iffy
Noot? Too streaky. I think he gets dealt.
Scott? Has the speed to hit leadoff but nowhere near the OBP!
Crooks? TBD
Walker will be in Memphis or out of the organization in 2026. It’s pretty clear by recent comments that Gorman is putting in the work and Walker is not.

Could very well happen.
Both of them show “flashes” but are roller coasters of inconsistencies.
Both have multiple years of team control.
Not sure of Options??
At the moment Gorman seems to have more momentum but next week it could flip flop?
Gorman- has the power. But the IF/DH are pretty crowded and they are pretty well stocked in LH bats.
Walker- Is a much needed RH bat and the OF is way more wide open than the IF.
On the down side he just seems stuck in the middle and lost. Change of scenery needed?
Certainly either could be dealt in a package for pitching.
