Nice. I saw that their top 100 was out and was wondering about JJ. I figured he would be top 10. Nice to see he's up there in both BA and MLB rankings.

Pena and Made for the Brewers are pretty darn legit. They were just promoted to Wisconsin (High A) last Monday, and they played 5 games vs. Peoria. The Brewers just graduated a few young players to their MLB squad, and now they have easily reloaded. That organization is light years ahead of the Cards in both scouting and development.

Yea, he came in just ahead of Joshua Baez (11th). Tink Hence’s fall has escalated, now ranked 12th

It will be interesting about Mitchell. Hopefully he’ll be in A ball to begin next year.

Hence has always been over ranked.
At 12, still is.
Not sure how Joshua Baez does not make the top 10.
Ranking of course are completley silly, but still.

Where the Brewers have excelled is signing teens in international market. Chourio, Made, Peña are top flight guys.
Brewers scouting the Latin market has been very good.

that's what I said..."....scouting and development"...and that goes for the draft, too. They go off the grid with their draft most of the time. Draft and sometimes sign hard-to-sign HS players. Turn them into good players.

The Draft and Trade Deadline certainly helped St. Louis deepen its farm with nine members of its Top 30 arriving since the start of July, headlined by fifth overall pick Doyle, who brings a ton of fire to the pitching corps. But don’t overlook some of the internal development here too. Wetherholt has met the hype as a borderline plus-plus hitter with impressive pop in his first full season, Rodriguez has built on his 2024 breakout by reaching Single-A in his age-18 season and Bernal has hit enough at Double-A to be considered a well-rounded backstop in a group loaded behind the plate. Various pitching injuries to Quinn Mathews, Tekoah Roby and Cooper Hjerpe have been the biggest hit to the organization in the Minors.
