Dvorsky, Snuggerud, Carbonneau, and Neighbours are the likely competitors for the other 3 with Dvorsky being the most important to reach that potential. There are some longer shots that could develop into top 6 if we're lucky. We're looking pretty good for top 6 forwards going forward just in our own pipeline of players.

On D we've got Broberg and Lindstein as the prime candidates to lock down the top 4 on LD in the coming years. Neither a #1 but you could see both develop into #2-3 level defenseman and there are plenty of long shots on LD as well in the system that might be #3-4 type guys if we're lucky. RD is a concerning with just Mailloux at or pushing for NHL time and with CP/Faulk on the wrong side of 30. Jiricek is a huge question mark and I guess all we can do is hope he develops. Not much behind those two that we could look at as likely top 4 RDs.

Pipeline at RD and C is concerning and counting on Mailloux and Dvorsky to hit.
Everyone loves to talk about Top 6 on this board. I will give ASOG some credit. He wants to talk about Top 3. The Blues are loaded with 2nd line players. Even Thomas is a Top Tier 2C or lower end 1C. Same with D. Parakyo is an excellent second pair D as is Fowler. It’s comparable to Sonny Gray. He’s the #1 in STL, but he’s really a #2.

Let’s see how guys like Carbonneau, Dvorsky, Mailloux, Holloway and Broberg develop. I think they have the potential for that Top 3 or Top pairing. Only time will tell.
Please define what you think are the requirements to be a 1C and also a first D pairing. How many 1Cs and 1Ds do you think are currently playing in the NHL?
I've long been a proponent for the fact that Thomas is a lower end 1C or a really high end 2C, but last year he turned the corner for me. He still has some weaknesses in his game, but he's powered beyond. I'd love to see him get a chance to play with someone beside Buchnevich though.
What did you think about Thomas's game in the playoffs?

I wasn't impressed.

This is ridiculous. How much more obvious does it have to be that SOGG is a troll and only hear to constantly try to tick off actual Blues fans? What actually qualifies to get someone booted around here? My money is that SOGG is a disgruntled Oilers fan that is just butt hurt about the fact that Army made such a spectacular move to pick up two Oiler 1st round draft picks and now thinks bashing Army on a Blues board is loads of fun.

The board generates ad revenue by views and trolls are good for views, they will never be banned unless they step way over a socially unacceptable line.. at which point they'll just create a new profile.

Case in point, the two threads that were created in response to the troll thread were locked but the obvious troll thread wasn't.
