Baker seemed like a cool guy and of course I rooted for him.
He actually hit for better average than I expected
this year but minus his trademark power.
And it didn’t help that he played only one position(1B) and below average at that.
Odd him going to the Dodgers of all teams??
Can’t see him cracking their roster if he can’t crack ours.

I read that the Dodgers don’t have any position players on the roster with option years left. Now they have Baker who is on his last one.

Maybe your wife can get you some of those head phones that they put on 3 year olds? I might take a couple of years, but you might (no guarantees) learn how to put them on. Do you recognize f bombs by mistake on a free coed multi-generational forum? I’d like to hear how one can be dropped by mistake.
Cards saved some money (they don't have to pay him the rest of the season) and made room for some miLB promotions.
Baker was out of options next year and was going into his age 29 season. He was going to lose his roster spot this offseason anyway and become a free agent.
Most likely, that is what will happen for him with the Dodgers, too.
Hopefully this is a trend to move away from having so many guys who can't play defense. It turns out that this affects your team's defense.
