There will be plenty of interest from people outside the organization, especially with Mozeliak out of the equation.
No more organizational hires!

they should be relieved as part of a clean start with Rock's boner
as part of that fresh start is a staff from outside the organization........I will concede convincing veteran, experienced leaders to go to stl will be a challenge
Re: House cleaning needed for coaching staff
I’d Bloom decides to keep Oli he might as well wear a bow tie and talk like a smug sissy because he will start out his era with the venomous hatred Mo has been getting.
If he replaces him with someone qualified and injects new energy all will be good and I’d be willing to bet the fan attendance(at least initially) would greatly improve with that move alone. Fans just wanna see that Mo stench gone and have the feeling that the team wants to win again

There it is...the latent bigotry.
Bowtie wearing implicates Mo as a "sissy."

No there’s plenty of other reasons. His dorky bow ties not necessarily relevant to thatscoutyjones2 wrote: ↑30 Jul 2025 09:26 amBanner29 wrote: ↑30 Jul 2025 09:25 am I’d Bloom decides to keep Oli he might as well wear a bow tie and talk like a smug sissy because he will start out his era with the venomous hatred Mo has been getting.

For those who want an experienced manager, I have one for you..
Joe Maddon. 71 years old and a winning career record.
Managed the Cubs 2006 WS team
Now Maddon wants a team where thr FO lets
him decide who to play in his roster with no interference from th analytics guys on who should play.
Maddon stated I want analytics from those guys but not them telling the manager who to play it not play.
Don’t know if Cardd willing to give that power to their manager.
Maddon knows the game. He would be great with the young guys.
Would a Bloom give that control to a manager ?
Maddon would say to Bloom you give me the roster and then let me play the guys without interference from others in your front office.
Think young guys in rebuild would respect Maddox’s vast knowledge and would like that FO would not override his decisions.
I think fans would like Joe as he has personality .

Let the next manager (and I believe there will be one) choose his staff, and be responsibleicon wrote: ↑29 Jul 2025 22:46 pm Bloom needs to fire Oli and his entire coaching staff. I have no idea, but he had success in Tampa, so there's that. And he certainly would be entertaining. But at 71...not so sure he's the guy right now.JuanAgosto wrote: ↑30 Jul 2025 10:19 amWould pajama Joe want to manage a rebuild?ramfandan wrote: ↑30 Jul 2025 09:51 am For those who want an experienced manager, I have one for you..

Re: House cleaning needed for coaching staff
If there is to be a true transition from the failed Mozeliak era of the last decade, I don't see how Bloom can keep Marmol, who owes his job to Mozeliak. I'm thinking and hoping he hires his own guy.JuanAgosto wrote: ↑30 Jul 2025 10:53 amIf Bloom makes a change, I look for it to be an experienced manager with name recognition.icon wrote: ↑30 Jul 2025 10:25 amI have no idea, but he had success in Tampa, so there's that. I would be interested in seeing if Marmol's managing changed without Mozeliak's influence. But I also think you are right that a change would be best. This team needs a manager with personality and fire.icon wrote: ↑30 Jul 2025 11:02 amIf there is to be a true transition from the failed Mozeliak era of the last decade, I don't see how Bloom can keep Marmol, who owes his job to Mozeliak. Does anyone really feel they know the true positive or negative impact Jon Jay has had on this team?
