No, he should only start on the 5th of every month left, so 2 starts left unless those are open dates.
Just checked the schedule ... Aug. 5th is AT LAD and Sept. 5th is home game vs. San Fran Giants It is 1985 Mystery Bobblehead Night so that promotion may bring a crowd for Mikolas last game according to your plan.

We are beyond “sunk costs” to “stunk costs.”

Since Mikolas can't be traded , either send him to the bullpen or DFA. How many years does he have on his contract? Replace him with McGreevey.

He has literally weeks left on contract…….and if old man Dewitt needs to keep a god awful stinker in his rotation to get every last penny out of it

Instead this will be the season where we had to move our starting C to 1B to save him and then move our next starting C to DH to save him. Which results in starts for Pages, who has no part in our future.
Basically feel the same way about Herrera. I never liked the pushing for position change from catcher, only for him to suck on defense anywhere else too. The team needs him to work hard in the off-season on drills for his catcher tools and skills. It doesn't really do the team any good for him to be DH only. Too bad that this team is lacking enough quality bats, because I otherwise would consider Herrera as trade bait.
