Rain should be out downtown by 6PM, so I say a start of 645 is still in play

I would ask Sonny his preference and go with his decision.
He is a vet and knows how he is feeling. Let his body determine which way he feels best.
The mental part of game is important. Go with Sonny’s brain and comfort level not your own.
That’s my plan if I am manager

Well it rained. And he only went five after two warm ups, and a 2 plus rain delay. I guess it did have an effect.
