and maybe Walker? Just can't score, even in a hitters park.
LoL. jW.
Why laugh? He was replaced for nearly a week by a total zero - Vilade. That's where the losing started.
JW is a total zero...can't hit and a nothing fielder
17th in Outs above average with 0, and 0 Defensive runs saved
Hitting 215/273/310/583...no [shirt], a 310 SLG!
-0.5 WAR

Correct. But he still plays our best right field, enough so, that we may have won a game or two. At this point I’ll take that.

Stats show he has no impact on defense, way below average hitter with a 65 OPS+ and his WAR tells you he is a negative affect on winning
6'6" 250# and has a 310 SLG
Huge disappointment

I can’t argue your facts. And I’m not. I’m saying we are still better off in right with him in there. That might not mean much, but it’s still better than what we had in replacement.

Yet our replacement players are even worse.
Walker was back today, gets on base twice, scores a run and we won.

I guess you're ecstatic over his play. Must love that WAR, meh defense, and 300 ish SLG, which gets worse every year, like his OPS

Meh defense. It’s the best we got however. Do you agree he is our best choice for right field, given the options. Who do you put in right.

There's only so many holes you can plug with the talent on hand.
Club doesn't have a legit three or four hitter for that matter.
Donovan when healthy should lead off..after that?
You are so right! I think, in a couple years, Bloom will have constructed a roster/lineup that is less balanced than this one is. We will have a couple athletic thumpers. Players will fit in where they are the most productive, not where we need them the most. Mo has been really bad at that.
Bloom's Red Sox teams don't give me confidence in his abilities. Your motives are laughable.

Are you sure it's not the pitching? Seems like the pitching is more responsible for their recent W-L record.

They have given up 5 or more runs in 10 of the 14 games in June. It’s the pitching.
