Correct. But he still plays our best right field, enough so, that we may have won a game or two. At this point I’ll take that.scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑14 Jun 2025 08:37 amJW is a total zero...can't hit and a nothing fielder

Stats show he has no impact on defense, way below average hitter with a 65 OPS+ and his WAR tells you he is a negative affect on winningsikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑14 Jun 2025 08:39 amCorrect. I can’t argue your facts. And I’m not. I’m saying we are still better off in right with him in there. That might not mean much, but it’s still better than what we had in replacement.scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑14 Jun 2025 08:41 amStats show he has no impact on defense, way below average hitter with a 65 OPS+ and his WAR tells you he is a negative affect on winningsikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑14 Jun 2025 08:39 amCorrect. Walker was back today, gets on base twice, scores a run and we won.

Meh defense. It’s the best we got however. Do you agree he is our best choice for right field, given the options. Who do you put in right.scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025 08:18 amDid you send a cards and gift?Cranny wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025 08:15 amJust turned 23 last month.scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑14 Jun 2025 08:41 amStats show he has no impact on defense, way below average hitter with a 65 OPS+ and his WAR tells you he is a negative affect on winningsikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑14 Jun 2025 08:39 amCorrect. I guess you're ecstatic over his play. Must love that WAR, meh defense, and 300 ish SLG, which gets worse every year, like his OPS
Bloom's Red Sox teams don't give me confidence in his abilities. Your motives are laughable.BrockFloodMaris wrote: ↑13 Jun 2025 22:45 pmYou are so right! I think, in a couple years, Bloom will have constructed a roster/lineup that is less balanced than this one is. We will have a couple athletic thumpers. Players will fit in where they are the most productive, not where we need them the most. Mo has been really bad at that.11WSChamps wrote: ↑13 Jun 2025 22:10 pm There's only so many holes you can plug with the talent on hand.
Club doesn't have a legit three or four hitter for that matter.
Donovan when healthy should lead off..after that?
