Simple. With limited talented players and lack of depth, trading the few talented players would create more massive holes in the offense and defense that could not be replaced. Result the best pitcher would play 1 out of 5 games. A much weaker offense and defense plays 5 out of 5 games.

Not a good trade for us.

When I say the reset is designed to get one bat and one LEAGUE LEVEL ace, this is what I’m talking about. Might never happen, but that’s the type player the plan calls for.
