Unfortunately it shows up most in the post season. The dodgers have made it to the World Series 4 of the last 8 seasons and won 2 of them some would say that’s just (bleep) shoot and theyve just been very very lucky but I think it has to do something with their payroll

I would add.
I watch a lot of baseball on the MLB app : TV and there are a lot of lousy defensive teams. Most notably that I’ve seen is the infield. Cardinals are outstanding and TBH imo the only teams the Cardinals lose too are the ones that out “fundamental” them when the pitching is solid. Of course implosions of the starter is usually an L.

They listen to see if anyone has a crazy offer for Helsley . If so , they may pull the trigger . They won't give him away.

Same amount of hits today, but yesterday the Dodgers actually had more hits I think. LOL Not gonna lie, that pitcher they had going today is a beast. I'm shocked Fedde did as well. That's why they play the games though.

Why are you everywhere trying to discount the cardinals success. If they lose they suck. If they win it's cause the other teams haven't been playing well. Dude the dodgers are capable of putting up 10 on any given night. We (actual cards fans) won a hard fought game against the the most hyped team in the game. Nothing you say negates that.
I think the best description of him is “contrary”.
Yeah, perfect. A contrarian to the nth degree.

I don't care where the Dodgers are, they're still talented and still the team to beat. This is going to keep adding to the fellas fire. They took down LA. Right now, that's going to make any team feel good.

And in the last month of the season they will run out
Yamamoto
Snell
Othani
Glasnow
If they can somehow get those 4 healthy at the same look out....that's why their record isn't as good...

Maybe. But he's made some interesting trades the last few years.

Edman for Fedde last year. Traded for Jordan Montgomery and Jose Quintana when we were in contention in 2022. Traded for JA Happy and John Lester in 2021. All of those were pretty good acquisitions without giving up much of value.

I'd think he would try and pull something similar this year. I doubt they trade a bunch of prospects, so maybe there's a move from the MLB roster they could make or for someone like a Lester, Happ, or maybe a Quintana where they trade some pretty marginal prospects.

Fedde did not miss many bats but kept ball short of the fences. Lots of hard drives caught for outs. Need a little luck now and then.
