Why is everything over your head? I mean I bet they aren’t thinking about how amazing it would be to play in the final again (with maybe increased roles) … with the greatest hockey player in the history of the game …. Win or lose.

Nahhhh
He maybe the greatest athlete ever never mind just hockey
Bold thing to say about Kapanen but I’ll allow it.
I wonder if Broberg and Holloway were somewhere thinking about what it would have been like to get embarrassed in 2OT last night.

TBone, I’m guessing Broberg and Holloway are sitting somewhere right now, thinking about the 8-year contracts they are going to be signing soon because they got the chance to play major roles on one of the most exciting up & coming teams in the league and they both excelled. I’m guessing those two have ZERO regrets despite what our friend suggests.
He's using the same tired saw from the Oilers board..."how dare they leave here!"

But yep...sure as rain.....see ya later!

Every basic thing is over your head. You’re the epitome of the stereotypical American hockey fan. You follow me harder than anyone because you know you’re inferior. You realize they are texting the Oilers wishing them luck … cheering for their friends … imagining themselves there…like all humans would do? I mean you understand this right? Nawww

It makes me chuckle.

Maybe.
But they would probably be, Stuck on a third line hard worker role, limited minute 6-7defender, riding pine, no pp time, no opportunity and being blamed for everything by Edmontons version of Jamie Rivers.

Coming to the Lou. Has been the best thing for both their hockey careers.

Yeah it could be a win lose. They did what they felt was best. Time will tell. I mean they both would have made money. Especially Holloway. That one didn’t make sense to me. Broberg I understand because the Blues overpaid.

They are all in worker roles as you call them. Kappy is saying these are the best days of his entire life. Guys dream about this their entire life.

While I think they’re probably excited for their friends I’m sure Holloway can’t help noticing that Jeff Skinner has been a healthy scratch for most of the playoffs.

With the trade demand and a known unhappiness. It's hard to see how things turn around there more then they did here.
But no doubt both are thinking and probably even said a time or two.....what if.
For a hockey player I can't see a better experience then the one players in Canada receive playing for a Canadian team.

Good to see Kap dressing and making a positive impact but man I still see him failing to convert on many prime scoring chances. That was the most maddening thing when he was a Blue. He has always had the speed and enough hockey smarts to help create a lot of scoring changes but chokes at the most important part

Sure has.

"excited for their friends" and and glad to be here under their contracts are not exclusive of each other.

Take a shot every-time bleeds types mocks or mocked.

Why do every one of bleeds bandwagon posts read like they were typed with lots of White Girl Rosé, lube, and a picture of Boss lifting the Cup?

With Edmonton, both Broberg and Holloway would be making under $2 million per year, getting few minutes and still have no future path allowed by a very stupid management team out there in Alberta.

Instead, they both make healthy salaries, are starring on the Blues, get actual recognition and have maximized their future earnings potential and current and future value.

They are THE two players in the entire league at their age that massively changed the direction of their careers for the better this past season.

Meanwhile, had Edmonton properly valued them and given them the same money and ice opportunity the Blues did, The Oilers would be hoisting the Cup instead of watching their window closed shut.

Those two players are exactly what they were missing.

Doug Armstrong is the most gangster GM in the league

Yeah it was. I don’t get why it’s hard for you to understand that. Panthers are a minter team. Their top 4 alone…hard to do anything against that. Ask Kucherov or any other studs over the past 2 years
