Hotshot, you don't make the rules.
he doesn't. But you're breaking one. You're supposed to stay On Topic, not try to Hijack Threads. It's the ONE Thing that the Mod Dierker still holds dear...

I guess people are free to report you?
However, you've done that on some of my threads in the past. Actually, you are doing that with this distraction from discussing Arenado. So report yourself.

Most the teams on his trade list pay the luxury tax. For the biggest spenders that could be 100% of his salary. I'm not sure the Cardinals would be willing to offset enough of that for them.

I was making a comparative comment pertaining to the OP. Quit being a trouble-maker.

Arenado gives great defense at a premium position. His hitting has been timely and clutch while not prolific. A hot streak will cure the complaints.

There are other bats in the lineup I'm more concerned about. Especially the replacement, Gorman.

If the Cardinals are in the race at the deadline, Arenado stays until they are out of it. Then see how Bloom constructs the team and handles the off-season.

Prediction: Burleson will be traded before Arenado.

"Burleson will be traded before Arenado". No way. The organization wants to trim salary. Burleson makes peanuts compared to Arenado.

You mean he's a player who doesn't get better as they get older? My goodness, I've never heard of that happening to any player before.

Hotshot, you don't make the rules. Why not try to make an intelligent comment about Arenado's lack of power as the Cardinals cleanup hitter?
Oli places him in the 4th slot in the lineup. (buzz) about Oli then and not Arenado.

What has he done to bring the team down?

Still plays great defense and has a 107 OPS. AND...he wants to be here.

It does if you're Shady/Maple/Wally/Robert Shelton.

Neither Arenado or Contreras are legitimate cleanup hitters. Right now, Contreras is a # 5 and Arenado a #6. Check his power numbers. The problem is, the Cardinals don't have a legit #4 hitter in sight.
