and everyone has known for a full day, but here it is officially:

St. Louis Cardinals
@Cardinals
INF/OF Jose Barrero has been selected from Memphis (AAA). He will wear #27.

INF Thomas Saggese has been optioned to Memphis.
Well, guess I'm stupid, but what is Barrero wearing on his thumb?

Don't understand Oli consistently putting gidp threats in the 2 hole.
Worried the Reds would find it very interesting on the bases if Herrera was catching.

1) I was referencing the Saggese/Barrero thread from yesterday. I wasn't calling you or anyone else "stupid"...that wasn't my intention. I just felt my post was very late to the party....sigh, I hate explaining on the internet. Perception is 9/10 of the law :roll:

So b/c of that, accept my apology

2. Thumb Guard that rests towards the knob of the bat. I've been seeing more and more batters use it to absorb shock on contact on the handle

I predict a Gorman bomb today. Maybe 2.

No, no, no, I was calling myself stupid for not knowing what he was wearing, lol. I'm not up to date on all the latest gadgets. Now I'll probably learn they're not that new, ha. I remember having mild strains between the thumb and index when I played. Neat to see new things.
I was amiss to not thank you for all your hard work at GDT's and milb updates. Thank you.

That'd be sweet, and hopefully would help Gorman be the DH choice much more often.

Seems like Gorman is winning out over Burleson for PT lately, which is very satisfying even if tardy.
