No, it’s just that rules are to give guidelines for a free forum provided by a public company. Have you read them, Goldfan?

Really, 2ninr? How nice of you. Are you a judgmental person in the real world?
Hilarious. You just proved my point precisely. You were polite and nice, than trolled me with the judgemental comment. Thanks for the chuckle!

Apparently., any criticism of DeTwit or Mo-ran or Oli must be responded to by the usual suspects...looks like another thread hijacked.

Is butthead ok or is that against the rules(which apparently were assembled by a first grader) too?

Oli will probably have the job until Mo walks out the door next offseason. After that Bloom makes his decision

I got high hopes for Bloom, but I cannot tell you how quickly I will sour on him should he keep this loser as his manager

For those who argue that oli can only play the roster he's given, I say this:

A REAL MANAGER WOULD DEMAND A BETTER ROSTER!!!

This pud was hired because he was Mo's pathetic 'yes man'. Mo doesn’t want a manager with stature. He wants nobodies who will follow orders. That way, Mo is the boss and will always have a fall guy.

Matheny was that guy. Shildt was that guy until he won a 'MOY' and began to push back. We know how that ended.

So lil oli is here to stay. Mo's pet is safe until at least October.

Very few managers today have much sway with the front office, much less the ability to demand ANYTHING. Is Kevin Cash a good manager? Why isn’t he demanding a better roster? Bloom is going to hire another Oli or Cash. Oli’s got two jobs: implement the collaborative decisions made by the management team of which he’s only a part and to face the media so the rest of the management team can remain nameless and faceless.

Was mowing so missed this version of “how Oli loses games”
I see Miles threw 89 pitches…..why was he removed? Any trouble?
Nope. The paint-by-numbers management book said it was time to replace him. Miko-loss was pitching a great game for a change.

Why take a vet out after 6 throwing a SHO and hand it over this clusterphuck BP??? Marmol is world class idiot.

You are right. And it's one of many reasons why the sport isn't as interesting anymore. True strategy has been relaced by AI probabilities. The human element to do the unorthodox, understand aches & pains, to judge non-stat compiling winners, and to gauge things like confidence are all gone. It's too bad.

Bigger issue is a manager/coach should be able to use a roster to its full potential and not allow certain players like Fernandez to be in charge of situations that they're unable to perform in. That's where the problem is, and the roster we have may not be the top, but it should still be generating better than 10-15.

This roster is capable of a .500 or better season. But oli is not a manager. He's an errand boy following a script. And the script is never altered. Even when the situation calls for it. It's time for a REAL manager.

While i agree, he's not going anywhere.

The same lame duck idiot who destroyed Cardinals Baseball isn't going to fire the third manager that he hired.

I do agree that Marmol is a problem, but the bigger problem is Mozeliak and the DeWitt's.

Anyone who didn't see this train wreck coming is blinded by stupidity.
