Nado out, Saggese batting 6th,
Burleson and Walker move up in the order
This would be a pretty good reset-type lineup if Scott was in CF. The way the Cardinals played in Boston. Maybe a reset should be back on the table this season.

Leave it to the Cardinals to have no picture in the TV broadcast today.

Need to move Contreras out of the two spot.
He's not a star player off to a slow start. He's a streaky hitter at best.
Let him get going then move him back.

I'd live with another 6 IP, 3 R effort from Libby....but as Runsoup said....our offense might not score more than 3 tonight. We might need Libby to be perfect tonight....and that's isn't fair, but it is what it is.

Is Contreras going to lead the league in strikeouts this year?

National championship game will have most of my attention tonight anyways

As a starter, teams will stack their lineups with RH hitters against Liberatore.
7 RH batters for the Pirates today.
RH batters hit .293 .366 .506 .872 in 581 PA against Liberatore in his career.
He will have to radically improve against RH batters or he is doomed as a starter.
IMHO, Marmol and the Cards are setting him up for failure as a starter when he could be a good innings eating middle reliever.
I sure hope something changed.
