be ready, Matt...they'll need you before long
Guru, you thought Burleson would be optioned. You are really slipping as a GURU. lol
Oli adores your hero so we will likely be stuck with another 600 PAs of mediocrity. At least you will be incredibly satisfied.
Strange....I know I typed "Burlson might be in Memphis next week"....I never mentioned that's what I thought, I raised the possibility.

Not what he said.

If I were Koperniak I would ask for a trade.

I don't know the intricacies of the Rule 5 draft. But if and when he becomes eligible he would be a good bench OF on another team. Unfortunately he doesn't have much leverage in a trade request.

He's earned his chance. Same old Cardinal [nonsense]. He should probably be starting in RF.

Barrero is uber talented and I look forward to seeing if our "new" development team can help him lessen the gap between "talent" and "performance." As much as I think Siani is better than his offensive numbers, why the heck are we placing more value on him rather than Koperniak. This is LUDICROUS!!!!

The Cardinals don't give chances.
They anoint some players and dismiss others long before the season begins.
We have seen it many, many times.
Koperniak's best chance of leaving Memphis is a Cardinal leaving Busch in an ambulance.

Glad Barrero and Baker made it, Scott should be starting. I would have put Koper in for Siani.
You are perfectly correct on all 4 points.
Easy.
Obvious.
Correct.

"They anoint some players and dismiss others long before the season begins". That likely includes Gorman and Walker

The team stated that very thing months ago.
Rightly or wrongly, both were publicly promised at least 500 PA's in 2025.

The opening day roster is not the roster for the entire year. There will be lots of movement between STL—MEM and lots of IL time. I suggest stepping back from the ledge.
