We could be there n delay till 3 ish our time, another couple hours. Showers lining up sw to ne.
Some lightning. Surely no more Libby.
Also no more Abbott.
The Reds see that as ok. Got four from him with the lead. We lose three more innings of the Libster. Cincy makes out.

So why was the other guy Saggese recently sent down who was actually producing and this baker who doesn't produce get to stay
Hello my name is "Mo" and I'm just not that bright.
You prefer Bumbles playing 1b vs a lefty if WillyCon sits ?
Nope
Saggese up here, Baker DFA'd, Bumbles in Memphis until he's traded.
I really prefer Saggese playing everyday in AAA.
As I've pointed out a couple of times Oli could've easily:
-Played Saggese at 3rd base one game a week to give NADO a day off to keep him fresh
-Played Saggese at SS one game a week to give Winn a day off to keep him fresh
-Played Saggese at 2B one game a week to give Donny a day off (or slot Donny in LF)
-Played Saggese at DH one game a week
Those 16+ PA's in MLB are more valuable to his growth than 20-24 PA's at Memphis would ever be.
I was as shocked as you then sent him down. He’s been extremely successful at every level including MLB.
I was hoping he would have stayed up and did as you stated moved around the infields. His OPS would have helped this team with consistency.
They did show us that they would like a CF and a defensive option in the outfield
when Siani made the OD. Ideally a SS option too. Being a RHB and doing that is an
additional plus.
That was Saggese spot along with the desire of playing time for him.
I could easily move on from 1 of the 1B, no problem at all. Just
commenting on what is in this dynamic.
Herrera adds to this taking some RH DH spots away.
Saggese has room for some moderation somewhere between JAG and ROY.
Still looks like a deal should be made to me. Or give it some time.

Made no sense when (as I outlined) they could've EASILY got him 16+ PA's a week in the RUNWAY season.
Heck add another 4+ PA's a week since he could've handled 1st base (today) instead of the useless Clydesdale.
Yep, if you're gonna send anyone down, send down the hotdog vendor who slaps singles at a measily .265. Saggesse's the one good thing Mo's done in the last few seasons. He reminds me of a younger Donovan.
If Burly can refind his power stroke at AAA, so be it. Otherwise, this team has no use for an overweight, slow, .250 slap-hitting singles chubster.

Tucker solo HR off Skenes
..And Suzuki follows with a solo... That's 3 HR's in the 5th off Skenes and the Cubs now lead 3-2 going into the bottom of the 5th...
If you are a Cubs fan you are hoping they sign Tucker to a long term deal. He’s a fantastic player. Seems to jive well in Chicago.
and if you're a Cardinal fan, you hope he signs long term with an American League team

I guess. I like having talent in the central makes watching the games entertaining. Of course that means the Cardinals need some too.
No offense but imo that’s a losers mindset. I want them to play the best.

Reds have nationals coming in. They can wait all night. We have a short flight for a night game. They can wait.
Cards get Mets, and then Phillies a week later. Should be the end of them till post season.

Cards could sign him.
Maybe they should sign him.
They won't, I know.
Trade the excess it creates for pitching.
Moving on from 1 or 2 of WC, NA, or Gray along with
Matz and Miles there's plenty available.

Skenes will take the loss

I'd be beyond shocked. No way a starter can sit that long after going 4ip and come back.

We don’t see Cubs till June 23. Almost half season.
