Hello my name is "Mo" and I'm just not that bright. ::crazya::
You prefer Bumbles playing 1b vs a lefty if WillyCon sits ?
Nope

Saggese up here, Baker DFA'd, Bumbles in Memphis until he's traded.
I really prefer Saggese playing everyday in AAA.
As I've pointed out a couple of times Oli could've easily:

-Played Saggese at 3rd base one game a week to give NADO a day off to keep him fresh

-Played Saggese at SS one game a week to give Winn a day off to keep him fresh

-Played Saggese at 2B one game a week to give Donny a day off (or slot Donny in LF)

-Played Saggese at DH one game a week

Those 16+ PA's in MLB are more valuable to his growth than 20-24 PA's at Memphis would ever be.

..And Suzuki follows with a solo... That's 3 HR's in the 5th off Skenes and the Cubs now lead 3-2 going into the bottom of the 5th...

I was as shocked as you then sent him down. He’s been extremely successful at every level including MLB.

I was hoping he would have stayed up and did as you stated moved around the infields. His OPS would have helped this team with consistency.

If you are a Cubs fan you are hoping they sign Tucker to a long term deal. He’s a fantastic player. Seems to jive well in Chicago.

Fine line between great and normal. Being on a bad team has to dull the senses, this damper the competitive spirit. Game face is a mere reflection in the mirror.

15 runs yesterday and now shut down by Abbott who just gave up 4 runs to the pitiful Rockies in his last start. ::crazya::

Okay Donny on, need a bomb NADO!
Rock,
The Cards run production is averaging 4.71 runs per game ranking 10th .. so upper third in mlb
In 2024, Cards averaged 4.15 for 22nd place.

Only 3 teams in 2024 averaged in the 5s to lead runs per game.
So if the very top teams average 5 per game that means for every 9 run game you will have a 1 run game to get the 5.0 average.
For your 19 rin gsmes, you get shutout too.

If Cards maintain the 4.71 average, based on mlb 2024 runs per game thr Cards would finish about 7th best.
4.75 runs per game ranked 7th
5.01 per game was 3rd best
Rock probably gets simple math.

RFD

Cards are averaging 4.59 runs per game (147 runs coming into today/32 games played), not 4.71.

But you're correct, they're 10th in MLB in runs scored.

Scrubbies lead MLB averaging 5.84 runs per game.

Seven teams are averaging 5+ runs per game (a half run better than the Cardinals).

Let's hope they can get up to that 4.71 runs per game!

If they do, then it will mean a more wins.

Made no sense when (as I outlined) they could've EASILY got him 16+ PA's a week in the RUNWAY season.

Heck add another 4+ PA's a week since he could've handled 1st base (today) instead of the useless Clydesdale.

Yep, if you're gonna send anyone down, send down the hotdog vendor who slaps singles at a measily .265. Saggesse's the one good thing Mo's done in the last few seasons. He reminds me of a younger Donovan.

If Burly can refind his power stroke at AAA, so be it. Otherwise, this team has no use for an overweight, slow, .250 slap-hitting singles chubster.
