Just another worthless pitcher from the system. Rotation and lineup a joke. Time to watch something else. You suck Mo.
Even that is off. This is his 13th career start per baseball reference.
They said The team was 10-3 in his starts coming into the game so he’s been doing something right
4.65 ERA. They’ve scored runs for him. It won’t last.
10-3 makes sense. He’s so good he’s done that in 9 starts this season.
Ah he meant 10-3 in his starts in his career 7-3 this season and 3-0 last season the way he worded it though it seemed like he was saying this season
Per baseball reference this is his 13th start. Maybe Brad time traveled.
lol I don’t know what he was talking about
career appearances, not starts. He pitched about 5 innings in relief one game.

No wonder fans don't show up at the park to watch this garbage outfit. I am about ready to watch Family Guy or something else more interesting than super bad baseball.

Cardinals might hit better if they’d just try swinging at strikes! Just a suggestion.
Burleson had 6 balls in his at bat and swung at 3 of them.
It appears they have no intention of taking a walk.
Their chase rate is thru the roof
To me, this has been an issue for a while now. This team seems to have no grasp of the strike zone. We take center cut fastballs for strikes and chase breaking pitches off the plate consistently. Hitting is hard enough but when you let the hittable pitches go and chase breaking pitches, hitting becomes more difficult. The hitting won’t get better until the Cardinals have a better grasp of the strike zone.

Recent highlights:
Pages strikes out with the bases loaded and nobody out
Church pops out but just far enough to be a SF against one of the worst LF arms in MLB.
Nootbar pops out
Winn pops out
Burleson pops out
Contreras strikes out
Gorman strikes out
Saggese lines out
Walker pops out
I vote Saggese as MVP

According to Chip, McGreevy has figured it out now that he struck out the side after giving up 4 runs thru 5.

Real ugly, weak and hapless at-bats.
Swinging at pitches out of the zone

I love how Chip and Brad are rolling out the nostalgia propaganda instead of focusing on how bad the Cardinals stink.
Everybody is in denial how bad this franchise is.
