When you are one of the premier sluggers of the game, you can't risk taking a walk.

good news on the Tanking front....Tampa, currently 9th, in the Lottery standing for the 2026 pick is winning 5-0. We lose they win, we go from 13th to 9th. 8th place, SF, has the night off.

We can easily get to 3rd - 5th before the end of the season. The lottery selection is on Dec 5th.

Burleson had 6 balls in his at bat and swung at 3 of them.

It appears they have no intention of taking a walk.

Their chase rate is thru the roof

The pwer outage on this team is remarkable. The futility is almost hard believe especially when you see virtually all other teams, including the Pirates seem to have not much trouble.

They said The team was 10-3 in his starts coming into the game so he’s been doing something right
4.65 ERA. They’ve scored runs for him. It won’t last.
10-3 makes sense. He’s so good he’s done that in 9 starts this season.
Ah he meant 10-3 in his starts in his career 7-3 this season and 3-0 last season the way he worded it though it seemed like he was saying this season

I know I saw that also what was Brad talking about? Maybe he meant his whole career but I don’t think he even has that many starts his entire career
Brad scores wins like hockey. 2 points if McGreevy wins. 1 pt if team wins.

Even that is off. This is his 13th career start per baseball reference.

There you go Gorman, swing and miss at the balls, and take the strikes!
