This is not on McGreevy. Some of yall are being unfair. If his catcher can field the throw to home, he gives up 0 runs that inning instead of 4. If the ump gets a call right, it’s strike 3 to arraez which would have ended the inning prior to 3 more runs being scored.
In the first inning, if Scott makes a decent throw or Donnie cuts it off runner is held at third.
Context matters. Giving up 5 of your 7 runs because the defense fails you and the ump blows a call is not the same as Fedde giving up bombs every other at bat.

team has been a bit sloppy, but pitching wise, this smells a LOT like a Fedde outinggpeeps22 wrote: ↑27 Jul 2025 14:39 pmNo this is not a good outing but some of yall were acting like this outing was the same as a Fedde outingmoose-and-squirrel wrote: ↑27 Jul 2025 14:38 pmso.. that being said, I'd rather it be McGreevy out there instead of Fedde, so he at least gets some experience

I get what your saying but every runner that reached base so far is because he has allowed them to either walk or hit one of those meatballs he's thrown up there.gpeeps22 wrote: ↑27 Jul 2025 14:37 pm This is not on McGreevy. Maybe they will get to see a grown man throw a tantrum and benches clear again... yawn.
- park for free
- $12 tix on stub hub
- bring in food and water for free!

Yeah ok. I am sure gas was free too. I said family, did you miss that part? Nobody in the stands spent only $12 to see todays game.

Chip not having a great game either. First inning he said McGreevy worked around lead off walk though it scored. Now said that Oli was coming out to take down McGreevy. Looked up to see if Oli was taking a gun out to the mound.

Walker lays off that outside pitch and works a walk... progress
Re: GDT : Cards vs. Padres (7/27) ~ 1:15pm CDT
Looks like the entire team has quit giving 100%. Jogging on the base paths. Not going all out for plays in the field. They need something or someone to motivate them. Wonder who that could be

Next round with San Diego in next week and will be in San Diego: Liberatore, McGreevy, Pallante.
We should no longer have Helsley, Maton, Matz, ??? but should have a bunch of prospects instead.
