Imagine paying hundreds of dollars to take your family to downtown STL in this heat. Gas, food, tickets... etc. only for the game to be over after just a few innings... again.
Maybe they will get to see a grown man throw a tantrum and benches clear again... yawn.
hundreds of dollars?
- park for free
- $12 tix on stub hub
- bring in food and water for free!

Pages has cost the team 5 runs in less than 4 innings. Guaranteed Oli would put him out there tomorrow
Pages is almost no threat at the plate, and his D is no big deal. Just play Pozo. At least he puts the bat on the ball more often anyway. The far bigger problem is we have NO reliable SPs. Yes, SG or LIbby might throw a decent start, but the team is consistently down 2-3 runs after an inning or two. Almost every game. I sincerely hope they get something for Helsley because keeping him would be silly. This team is going nowhere without pitching.
J. Walker falls on his face making what should've been a routine catch, he's horrible again in RF (-7 DRS).
The kid was a 3rd baseman all the way from when they selected him thru minors til very last minute at Springfield.
The wanted his bat to play but he was blocked by Arenado so they forced him to OF. Bad move !

Why is it hundreds of dollars? Tix have to be cheap. Mass transit. Eat before the game and popcorn, peanuts and cracker jacks at the game with waters.

he was worse at 3rd than he is in the OF (hard to believe I know)

He was never sticking at 3b. They also had drafted Bumbles and KKorn as 3b.
How does explain that how he sucks? High schoolers should very rarely be drafted
Cardinals look like they are trying to make another poor pitcher look like a Cy Young candidate. They are so jekyl and hyde on offense. Feast or famine, with way too many famines.

He's certainly not a 3rd baseman...I'm not sure where he can play defense

On the other hand, Jackson Merrill never played the OF until his first game as a rookie and became ROY…
