Gray was signed to be the horse of this staff.
4.35 ERA now.
The old gray mare just ain't what she used to be...

Sonny Gray is a laughable joke. What a waste of money. No wonder the guy didn't want to be traded. Why face the pressure of playing for a contender when being garbage is par for the course in STL.

It's hard to imagine very many more wins with this team. Hit and miss offense and zero quality starts looking ahead.

Dude is the ace of this staff but would be fighting to be a 5 on a playoff team.

and there goes the lead.
Gray and Pallante are either great or terrible this season. The variance is jarring.

Time to switch to better baseball - the Little League World Series on ESPN2.

So true. I predicted 70 wins 92 losses. They are trending that way. Pitching is gruesome from the starting group.

He should have to pitch the whole game. Only way he can earn his bloated salary is by saving the bullpen.

Yeah, but 6 SO in only 4 IP. Let's not mention the 2 HR and 2 BB.
Yankees have a .500 BABIP today, too. Cards defenders definitely not standing in the right places.

But people love to make excuses for the guy that he doesn't like to pitch in hot weather. Remind me what season baseball is played in.

We watch more strike three's go by without lifting the bat. Now Scott with his normal pop up. We won't score again tonight.

Just like I asked last night. Does this team really need a hitting coach from here on out?
