I’m sorry, I don’t particularly follow the WNBA, although I am aware of Ms. Cunningham. What exactly did she say?

And even if she did, I’m not certain “spewing hatred towards women” is a prison-worthy offense. But I’m not a lawyer, so what do I know?

I’m going to regret this, but “hate speech” is not a crime, I would argue she expressed no hate. She offered an opinion.

Unless she made a legitimate threat toward someone, incited others to lawlessness, or committed harrassment, as defined by law, she committed no crimes, therefore is not deserving of prison.
