I could see them minimizing Herrera at C. Pages can hang around in the back. Crooks is the one that just has no place. I figured they would wait til the off-season, deal Crooks, and then let Bernal come in fresh for next year without Crooks there. It'll be interesting.

I understand the argument, and I see the point Basil is making. But I just don't like having Bernal and Crooks together as the tandem. It doesn't seem like either one would be the clear starter. Seems to me it'd be better to have 1 starting catcher, and 1 backup catcher. I think I'm admittedly just going to be a Crooks hater. Someone is going to sell me on him.
