Outstanding, I hope they have something left for the nightcap. It would be great if Pallante can go at least 6 innings.

My thoughts exactly. Maybe we need a piggyback game.

O'Brien was on fire today. He was painting that corner like Michelangelo.

On the other hand, Mathews was painting the corner like Van Gogh.

This may be a dumb question...and I think I already know the answer...but here goes:
You are allowed a 27th man for the DH.
Cards brought up Mathews and he started game 1 of course.
Are you allowed to “replace” your 27th man for the second game??
Mathews would obviously be sent out.
Pretty sure the answer is NO as I don’t remember seeing it done???

Not a dumb question cuse, but, I think it might be interpreted as guilding the lilly. Probably the answer is no.

Me also I’m not sure the answer but I’m betting it’s you’re allowed to have a 27th man for the double header so it’s one extra guy for both games so I doubt they could change them out but I don’t know. It’s a good question though

Thanks guys!
Probably have a 27th man for the DH/Day?
I just wondered because it’s a “split” DH
there is some time between games.
