No, no he didn't. TLR didn't hit Albert 2nd.
I never said he hit Pujols second. I said he used that strategy.
La Russa didn't use his best hitter 2nd. That was Pujols. He hit 3rd.

Herrera is batting .233 with RISP, so not really doing much hitting in the 2nd spot with runners on base.
You literally just showed why perhaps having Burleson and Walker 3-4 made more sense than Ivan at 4.
Yes, this shows why Burly was moved to 3. Why keep Herrera at #2 when his OBP in the month of July was .261? And again, NOBODY on this team was hitting or getting on base in July, so there was no other option to try and slide into the #2 spot to kick start any kind of offense other than your best overall hitter so far this season in Walker. Has it worked, no, but they had to try and change up something, as this offense has been dead for a long time.
Then you put somebody else in the 2 hole, not Walker.
Stupid move. Oli has no business making out the lineup card.

Seems like they have decided to lose since the Brewers series. It was obvious then and obvious today. Marmol is not playing to win. He is playing for a "sell". I didnt want to believe it, but it has become very clear that is what is going on.
IMO, it is now about a draft pick.
Yeah that Brewers Series White Flag was embarrassing…..and either the team saw it and quit or Oli has been doing his best sabotage
Yep. It was abundantly obvious. I didn't really want to think it, but that is 100% what has happened.

Ivan was doing everything possible to get on base hitting 2nd. Now his thought process has changed. He is being asked to be the prototypical cleanup hitter. He is NOT that kind of hitter.

Thi slide started late May/early June when they were winning. They sent down VSII, Gorman, and more and brought up what you see today. If Winn really did say, words to the effect, that no matter how good they play, Bloom is breaking up team, there is discontent between owners and players. Winn, despite his young age, is considered a "veteran" now on this team. And remember JJ aand VSII go way back, and the Cards had just released a vid showing their friendship, right before he was demoted. Never understood that, as I'm sure it embarrassed both JJ and VSII

Just responding to your made up post. You can't just say stuff that isn't true and pass of off as fact. This isn't CNN.

I didn't say anything that isn't true and Pujols had zero speed and Walker is fast and leads the team in hits. Just stating a fact that this is done. So that is a fact and now you can S[top] T[hose] F[raudulent] U[tterances]. I don't watch CNN and obviously you are making this about politics m you can literally go f yourself

You said TLR did this all the time.
Can you explain that then?
Lastly, nothing about politics, guy. Not sure where you got that. And why so hostile?
