Well, McGreevy is 4-9 with an ERA about 3 1/2. So welcome to the club, I guess.
True...but 1st game in the ML. He deserves better!

A scoreless inning from gastelum too bad he can’t have some of those when the games are tied or cards are ahead. But oli will probably send him out for a second inning to make sure he gives up a run or two

There isn't a single, universally accepted name specifically for a "two-sentence, 4-syllable-each" poem, but based on the structural rules of poetry, it falls under a couple of broader categories:

A Rhyming Couplet: A couplet is a pair of successive lines of verse, typically rhyming and of the same length. Even though yours are structured as separate sentences, they still function as a classic couplet.

A Monostich Duet / Micro-poetry: In modern poetry, very short forms are often referred to generally as micro-poetry or minimalist verse.

Short-Form Verse (with Foot Constraints): In classical metrics, a five-syllable line is called a pentasyllabic line. So, technically, you have written a rhyming, pentasyllabic couplet."

Probably more than you cared to know about your poem... :D

I remember a play that Pujols made in 2011 NLDS vs. Philly...Utley tried that 1B to 3B on a throw from 3B, and Albert instead of holding the base on the throw, stepped forward, cut the ball off and nailed Utley at 3B.

High IQ play. Our current 1B leaves you wanting there.

OK... I’m by no means saying that he is the answer at 3B...but I’m warming up to Blaze!
He is superior in every aspect of the game to Gorman plus he is a breath of fresh air.
We’re spared having to watch the “glazed over” look on Gorman’s face which seemed to say “where am I”??????

GREAT.
I'm surprised how long they let him pitch.

McGreevey has thrown 97 or more pitches once this year.

Leahy exceeded 97 pitches twice (his.last 2 starts)

May exceeded 97 pitches 3 times

Pallante exceeded 97 pitches 4 times.

He's a placeholder and not a very good one. He's hitting .233 with a .598 OPS. That's not very good.

Quinn has so many miles on his arm...they'll never limit his PC unless he approaches 35-40 in one inning
