I helped that a lot when I was in the Navy back in 1971. Fun place for a single guy.Strummer Jones wrote: ↑01 Aug 2026 15:28 pm Really looking forward to Liberatore stinkin' up the joint tomorrow.
On the plus side, that'll probably help Canadian-US relations

Mathews back out there...any trouble and they'll probably yank him
he's capable of 100 pitches, if all goes well this inning

these are really good pitches, Okumoto is fighting them off...that change up low was great, he didn't swing

nice...great fastball in
1 more out, Quinn
-------------
edit ~ good poise, Quinn...could've folded after the 3rd....good to have a rookie who can go 100pitches
this will get easier with each start....he'll be going 6 and 7 IP before long

Cards have a genius plan of losing to teams to make them think they are still a playoff team making the available player market smaller raising Cards players market value

Matthews' best inning of the game (1-2-3 outs, 10 pitches), but will be his last one, due to 95 pitch count. An EXCELLENT major league debut... Wanna see more of him for sure...
