On a team that only scores a run every so often, JJW should have bunted the runner to second. You have arguably your two best hitters coming up, and of course they both singled which would have produced a run. I know Marmol doesn’t sacrifice much, but you can’t play for the big inning all the time, on a team that isn’t very good offensively.

No. What JJ needs to do is quit trying to pull the outside pitches. His first groundout he hit a pitch 6 inches outside right up the middle, and his DP grounder to 2nd was a strike but away. He has gotten in this bad habit recently. He is much more effective when he hits to the opposite field.
