Walker has already exceeded near 100% of anyone in MLB's expectations for this season, no way (IMO) he was going to keep it up and has started to regress to his "new" mean............which is still really good!
If he ends up w/an .830+ OPS, 30+ HR's and 95+ RBI's, then it's been a very successful season.
Would I give him the stupid extension ($250M) some wanted to after his batting practice, HR Derby win and great first half? H E L L NO!
But a deal similar to JJW's would be fine.
If he balks, then let him go through ARB's 1 - 3 and move on.
