JJs Home Run, He Walked Nearly Halfway Down The Line

Post by Adam2 »

I love it. Even more reserved players like JJ are admiring the shots. Its great for bringing in younger fans. The game is in desperate need of any way to bring in the next generation of die hards.

Love it or hate it, this is where its going, and it will keep going this way

PCA antics and JJ walking down the line, Its all good for the game

I’m sure cubs fans were calling on him to be drilled because he was show boating and showing them up

Does anybody think that Weatherholt will reach the stats that Paul DeJong had in his rookie year, half of this forum already has jj in the hof he is a good ball player but in no way is he elite

Maybe not elite yet but ill take a gold glove caliber second baseman who hits 20 home runs steals 15-20 bases and gets on base at a .350 clip all day every day

The guy has been pretty much garbage at the plate since May 1st. Not a guy who should be pimping.

Its fine. All emotion.

Sure, if the Cards were down 10-1, JJ wouod look like an idiot. But god forbid hes excited about a game tying hr late in the game.

Saw this comment in the other thread.

Comparing JJ and PCA's reactions are not even close. NOT EVEN CLOSE.

Look, I am all for raw emotion and excitement, but that can be done without disrespecting and showing up the other team. What PCA did was blatantly showing up the Cardinals.

Example: Jimmy Ballgame's celebration as he hit a playoff bomb - pure, natural excitement.

PCA - "Look at me"

I think you are smart enough to understand the difference.
