Not all will make the cut, but the only way we'll know if they can make the cut is by sticking them into situations where they have to sink or swim. And we can expect a learning curve on top of that.

As a fan it behooves us to be patient with the process or go find something else to do, else we drive ourselves mad.
There should be a way to see if these guys have it before they blow this many games at the ML level. Its called the minors.

If that's not working then pay some $$ and hire a few arms. BDW isn't poor.

He was the best reliever in all of the minor leagues for much of this season.

I said he would struggle initially in the majors...and he's taking his lumps.

Instant Gratification must make it hard to be a fan for some of you.

He's here for a long while. And he'll be fine.
Well it can't be any worse.

The change up is becoming a more prominent pitch in usage and he's going to have to spot his fastball especially to be effective.

Small sample size but that sticks out like a sore thumb.

his Changeup looks scripted right now...the opposing batters know where to swing it seems...all making contact well below the zone.

This guy needs to learn another pitch or get some more experience because he sure isn't ready for the majors.

You know as well as I do that success in the minors doesn't always translate to success in the majors. There is only one way to find out and that's to play him.

I tend to agree. It’s too early to Judge. I do recall there were people hoping that he would be called up. There must’ve been a reason for that.

Gave up 2 runs in the 10th again and this time got the loss. That's okay though because that's what ownership wants! The guy sucks, gives up runs just about every time he pitches.

With all due respect......the guy is a rookie. Most tend to struggle in their first trip. I remember a guy that came up, I think in 1959, and his first year had a 5+ ERA. His name was Robert Gibson. Let him get his feet wet and let's see what happens.

Maybe find out in lower leverage situations, on the road, not playing our arch rival the cubs, in extras....

For some reason we seem to be "Finding Out" a lot more often than our opponents are "finding out" at inopportune times against us.
